Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has said that the free and fair Elections 2013 would guarantee a viable Pakistan.
“Delay or rigging in elections will be deleterious for the stability of Pakistan,” he warned speaking at General Workers Convention of the MWM here.
Allama Shafqat Shirazi, Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Maulana Haider Abbas Abidi, Maulana Mohammad Hussain Karimi, Maulana Mohammad Ali Hussaini, Maulana Deedar Ali Jalbani and electoral contestants from Karachi’s constituencies and thousands of the workers attended the convention.
Allama Jafari said that it is in the best interest of Pakistan that a strong alliance be formed to defeat the agenda of hate and terrorism. He reiterated that the MWM’s doors were open for all who reject terrorists and their allies.
“We shall not disappoint downtrodden people. We detest the oppressors and we help and back the oppressed class,” he assured saying that the participation of the MWM in the Elections augurs well for the disadvantaged people.
The MWM Chief said that May 11 will be day when the nation would reject the plunderers and oppressors by the power of ballots. He said that all Pakistanis should join hands to rid the country of corrupt system and corrupt people.
“There are indications that elections could be postponed on the pretext of deteriorated law and order situation but we demand improve law and order situation and hold elections as per schedule,” he said.
