Wahabi Jihadists exhume grave of Prophet’s companion ‘Hujr ibn Adi’

Wahabi Jihadists in Damascus have desecrated the shrine of Hazrath Hujr ibn Adi, who was the pious companion of Hazrath Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Wahabi jihadist destroyed  the mausoleum and exhumed the grave of Hujr ibn Adi in the Damascus suburb of Adra and  took his boday to an unknown place.

Hujr ibn Adi was a pious companion of the Prophet (saws) and played a vital role in the correction of the Ummah.

Hujr was a notable companion from the Companions of ‘Ali and his son al-Hasan, peace be on them. He was a lord from the lords of the Muslims in Kufa.

Hujr ibn Adi  was a supporter of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (as), he and his companions were killed by Muawiya (Lanat) for refusing to Curse Imam Ali (as). Hujr asked that his son be killed before he did so that he will be sure that his son stayed on the love of Ali and will not be affected by his death.

After the battle of Qudsiya Hujr ibn Adi participated in Jamal and Sifeen, alongside Ali and was amongst his Shi’a. He was killed upon the orders of Mu’awiya in a village called Mriaj Adra near Damascus. At the time of his execution he requested: ‘Do not remove these chains after I am killed, nor clean the blood. We will meet again with Mu’awiya and I shall petition my case against him’.

Regarding the killing of Hujir ibn Addi Ayesha (RA) said: ‘Mu’awiya you killed Hujr and his associates, By Allah! The Prophet told me ‘In the ditch of Adra seven men will be killed, due to this all the skies and Allah will be upset”.

The Syrian government says that the violence is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the insurgents are foreign nationals.

Damascus says the West and its regional allies Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey are supporting the armed groups.

In addition, several international human rights organizations have accused the militants fighting the Syrian government of committing war crimes.
